Pixi is a little hard to come across in these parts. You can, of course, buy it online, but sometimes it’s just nice to see something in person and nonchalantly look around an actual store to get a feel of what you like. So when I happenstance stumbled upon a Pixi store in London I was very excited and spent far too much time in there. I did manage to buy a few things, but one item was an immediate hit and has stood out from the rest – the Makeup Fixing Mist

Hello! I'm back from my little trip to London. I went to lots of parks, ate at a fancy vegetarian restaurant, drank lots of coffee and generally had a blast. Of course, I also did a little bit of shopping. I did pick up a few beauty bits, although not as many as I'd hoped for. In fact, I walked into Kiko and immediately turned around and left because it was so crowded. But that's another story... Today, I'm talking about my favourite purchases and they both happen to be from TopShop!

For some reason, sometimes I am a little slow to embrace certain products. Maybe I think they aren't meant for my skin, maybe I think they'll be a hassle or maybe I just don't know what the heck to do with them. Whatever my justification, I put off trying them. But once I do finally take the plunge and test them out, I love them and curse myself for not trying them sooner. Today, I am going to be talking about these exact products and explaining why you shouldn't be scared to try products out of your comfort zone.

As you are reading this, I'm in lovely London. I've been before, loved it. I am very excited about going again, Seen as I'm only going for a few days, I seriously tried not to over pack. I was strict and said I would only take one of each product and two lipsticks (and two concealers)... (and 3 bronzing products)... Overall, though I stuck pretty rigidly to my rule and it still seems like far too much slap for one person, but I tried and that's what matters, right? Anyway... let's have a look!
