For the past year or two, I have loved and relied on the same cleanser - The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil. And it's great. It is reasonably priced, it removes makeup with ease and it's not stripping or tightening on my dry skin, but it's getting a little boring. I wanted to sex up my skincare routine and add some variety into the mix. And what better way to do that than buy an overhyped and very expensive new cleanser!

In all my blogging years, I don't think I've ever done a disappointing products post. Now it's not because of that ol' "I don't like to be negative" excuse because I love to nag and winge about crappy products, but rather I just never got round to doing one. Times are about to change, though. I've searched through my makeup drawers, found some products that quite frankly suck and I'm going to name and shame them today.

I'm a bit of a natural beauty philistine. It is something I am interested in, but I'm quite clueless about the whole thing. In an effort to expand my natural beauty horizons, I discovered Odacite. They are a brand that specialises in pure plant serum concentrates and they cater to a number of skin concerns making them sound like a real winner to me.

Loyal readers (all two of you), will probably remember that before Christmas I discovered the joys of Catrice mascaras. So when I went back to restock, I noticed that Catrice had a number of other mascaras in the same collection and I decided to go crazy and try another one from the range.

For the last 6 months, I had a fixation. Whenever I had the opportunity, I would be Googling, gazing and craving Illamasqua’s brushes. I wanted them badly. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet and buy these beautiful bad boys. I got the Essential Brush Set and my word, they are stunners.
