butter london fiddlesticks

Coming into Autumn/Winter, I'm getting excited to get out my wintery nail polishes. Last Christmas I spotted a Butter London nail polish in TK Maxx. Considering they are hard to obtain in Ireland, I leapt at the opportunity to purchase it. Now the colour Fiddlesticks is not a one that I would initially go for but after putting it on my nails, it has become one of my winter favs.

Described by Butter London as "full coverage, semi-matte, magenta glitter suspended in a raspberry base", that pretty much sums it up. Only one or two coats is needed and its perfectly on and last on my nails for 3 or 4 days without chipping (that to me is a very long time!). I love this nail polish in Winter as a Halloween colour or an alternative to a Christmas red. Its a pretty darn good polish.

The only negative, maybe the brush. I personally prefer a wide brush that can cover the nail in one swipe rather than a thin brush, which Butter London Nail polishes have but its no deal breaker. Apart from that, its a happy thumbs up from me!
