revlon foundations

Excuse the grubby packaging in the above picture but I think it proved what I'm about to say is true, I really like Revlon foundations! Revlon do Drugstore foundations like other. They make for pale skins, have foundations for all skin types and generally just rock! My favourites are three that I consistently reach for and are staples to my make-up bag.

Revlon Colourstay: This is one of the first foundations by Revlon I ever tried and I still love it. This foundation is offered in two formulas, normal/dry and combination/oily skin. I have the normal/dry formula in the colour 150 BUFF and the coverage is medium to full. I tend to wear this foundation when I know I will be busy all day and wont be able to retouch. I trust it will look great all day without getting cakey and staying weightless on my skin. I really trust this stuff to keep my looking fresh all day.

Revlon Nearly Naked: This caused quiet a commotion when it came out. Revlon hit a high note with this light-weight, dewy foundation. I have the colour 120 Vanilla and this foundation is perfect for light make-up days. It looks beautiful on the skin and if I pop a primer on underneath it has pretty good lasting power.

Revlon PhotoReady: This is my top pick for the Revlon's foundations and also the priciest. This foundation can cost as much as €19 so its verging on high-end foundation prices. This is my go to for a night out base. The coverage is medium and it gives a lovely glowy, luminous quality to my skin without giving flashback. It feel really comfortable on my skin and I have the colour 003 Shell, which is a little darker as I usually wear this when I have fake tanned. Its one of my all time favs.
