elf cosmetics

Elf had a whooping 50% off and as a girl who has never tried Elf before I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try some of their products. I picked up some blushes, 2 brushes and a eyebrow kit and I am very excited to try them out.

Elf blushes are probably the most praised items in their make-up collection. I purchased 4 blushes all priced below €5. All of the colours were quite pigmented and were very pretty. I was surprised about how good the quality was for the price.

I purchased the colours Peachy Keen, Blushing Rose, twinkle Pink and Candid Coral. I was most excited about Peachy Keen as I have heard some good reviews about it before and it seems to be a lovely colour. It is quite similar to Candid Coral but more pigmented so I maybe wouldn't of bought the two if I had the option again.

I also purchased two brushes. The Angled Blush Brush and the Powder Brush. These were also very inexpensive at less than €5. They seem very soft and certainly look more expensive than they were but after using the Powder Brush I am not sure if I like them as it did not pick up much product. I plan on doing some further testing though and hope i can find use for them.

Lastly is the Studio Eyebrow Kit in Dark. I have seen a few kits like this one but have never tried one. I am more of a eyebrow pencil kind of girl. Seeing again as it was so inexpensive, I thought I would experiment with this type of product and see if it works with my brows.

As everything was so inexpensive I don't mind if they do not work and am just excited to try them out. Have you tried out any of these products? Or are there any Elf products I should of tried instead?
