bourjois bronzing primer

Bourjois Bronzing Primer is a product when I heard about it I was immediately interested in but fear kept me away. The colour looked very orange and dark in the jar but I took the plunge, have tried and tested it and I am so glad I did.

Bronzing Primers are not ubiquitous especially in the affordable make-up category, but Bourjois Bronzing Primer is a very interesting, unique product. Priced at around €14, this matte medium brown bronzer is to be applied under or over make-up to give a bronzed look or create contour. It has a  velvet mousse texture and feels very soft and easy to blend.

To apply the primer, I used it with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and put it on under my foundation. Taking a small amount of product, I applied it to my cheek bones and my temples to create definition. I was quite hesitate to use a lot of product as I am so pale and the colour looks so strong but when I had it applied, blended in and my foundation over the top, it looked very natural and I even thought I could of applied more.

I am surprised by how natural this looked on my face and how easy it was to apply. It blended in so flawlessly and gave really great contour. I applied a medium coverage foundation on top which did cover up a lot of the primer so I applied a little extra on over my foundation when I was finished and it still looked natural while adding shape to my face.

I can't believe I was so hesitant to try the Bourjois Bronzing Primer, it looks so lovely on my skin. I really enjoy using it now, especially on a night out. Scary orange in the jar, Yes. But on the face, it is so much more.
