Favourite Affordable Concealers

Tuesday, 21 January 2014

I love a good concealer. They are my desert island product as I suffer from quite bad under eye circles. I have tried and tested A TON of high street concealers but three stand out to me as the best.

My first favourite is the Rimmel Wake-Me Up Concealer in Ivory. I love this concealer as it got great coverage and also brightens under the eyes. It has an anti-fatigue effect which I think really works. I instantly look so much more awake with this on. I do have to set this one with some powder however though as it tends to slip around. At only €6.99, its a steal though.

Second, is one for both face and under eyes. It is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in Eclat Clair for €9.99. This gives great coverage and also anti-fatigue. It isn't the most brightening concealer so it can be used on blemishes also so its the perfect two in one product. My only issue is that this sometimes can be a little drying and it can sink into fine lines but the great coverage makes up for this.

Finally, its the Revlon ColorStay Concealer in the shade Light Pale for €9.99. I love the Revlon ColorStay range and was excited when they brought this concealer out. This has great coverage and a great shade range. It's perfect for hiding blemishes and hides redness well. Although, it doesn't last as long as I assumed it would considering the ColorStay foundation lasts for a very long time, it still stays longer than your average concealer making it a great buy.
