Review: Stila Convertable Colour Palette

Thursday, 2 January 2014

Stila's Convertable Colours are held in high regard in the blogging world. So when they released their Holiday collection with a a palette named Colour Me Pretty containing 5 shades of the convertible colours, I snapped it up.

The Stila Colour Me Pretty Palette (be warned is limited edition but is still available) is such a great deal. Priced at €25, its quite the good deal as an individual convertible colour is just under €20. The palette is in a lovely tin that is simple, classic and easy to clean, an essential for messy cream products.

The palette has 5 lovely, wearable cream colours that can be both used on the lips and cheeks. The shades are all very versatile making it the perfect palette for any occasion. Kitten is very light and would be a perfect highlighter. Peony and Rose are deep and rich colours. I wouldn't of actually bought these two on their own as the colours look rather dark but they look really lovely and are perhaps my favourites of the palette. Gerbera and Petunia are the brighter, more classic peachy, pink colours perfect for a lovely glow. I applied the colours with my trusty Real Techniques Stippling Brush on my cheeks and simply used my finger when applying to my lips.

For the price, shades and packaging this is an incredible palette. Any cream blush or lip stick lover would love this palette as the quality is remarkable. Pick it up if you still have the chance. You won't regret it!
