The Travel Bag

Saturday, 4 January 2014

We have all been in that situation where you will be travelling for just a couple of days and over packing ensues. The inevitable anxiety driven questions such as "What if I need this?" or "What will I need if I end up going there?" drives up the number of products that end up squished in a tiny wash bag. I however, have decided that this weekend I am packing light and no amount of what ifs are going to lead to me over pack. Here is a look at my sleekly packed beauty bag.

I find travelling is the perfect time to use up those pesky samples that have been lying around gaining dust in my skincare collection. Therefore, I have attempted to pack as many as possible as well as packing a few favourites that I know will serve me well.

No.1 My favourite cleanser of the moment: The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
No.2 A sample toner: Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
No.3 A reliable moisturiser: Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream
No.4 An eye cream I just want to use up: Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair

No.5 Sample size Skincare perk-up: Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
No. 6 Lipbalm savior: Nuxe Reve de Miel
No.7 Facecloth: Primark's finest

No. 8 Must have antiperspirant: Sure Maximum Protection
No.9 Travel size hair care: Tresemme Heat Defence
No. 10 Favourite Brush: Tangle Teeezer

Packing light is really difficult but I think I have achieved it with this trip as my skincare and hair products bag has just 10 items, an all time low for me. My efficient packing of just what I need may have succeed with this bag, however my travel make-up bag, that is a whole different story...
