January Favourites

Saturday, 1 February 2014

January being a dull and dreary month, I cheered myself up with some retail therapy and a few pamper sessions. Along the way I found a few new favourite products so here are my most loved products of the month.

L'Oreal Color Riche in Addictive Plum

I picked this up earlier this month and haven't been able to stop wearing it. I love the plum/pink colour and really think the formula is fantastic for the price. I did a full post on this product- here.

Stila In The Know Palette

This palette full of neutral mattes could not be any more perfect. It's got warm and cool toned eye shadows all of which are really wearable and they are amazing quality. This was my first Stila eye shadow purchase and I am so impressed I will definitely be heading back for more.

Viktor & Rolf Spice Bomb

I realise that this is a fragrance for men. In fact, this bottle actually belongs to my boyfriend but oh my! I love the smell of this stuff. It doesn't have a typical male fragrance scent. I think it is actually more of a unisex fragrance. It has a strong but sweet olfactory. I spray it on my scarf and get the delicious smell all day.

Max Factor False Lash Effect

This is also a product I reviewed earlier in the month and it has become on of my favourites. It gives great volume and length which I love, but it also never smudges. Smudging is a real problem for me as my eyes are quite watery and this stays put, no flaking, no panda eyes. Its perfect.

Stick Cream Eye Shadows

These are amazing little time savers. In the morning, rushing around, I never have time to do a full make-up look but with simple cream eye shadow sticks one swipe, blend with my fingers and I'm done. They also function amazingly as primers under eye shadow looks. Two of my favourites are No.7 Stay Perfect Smoothing Eye Shadow in Nude and Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Paint in Rich Russet. Perfection.

Any opinions on my monthly favourites? What are the products you have been loving this month?
