February Favourites

Saturday, 1 March 2014

With another month passed, it's time for the inevitable monthly favourites posts. I've been loving some of my old favourite drugstore products this month with a sprinkling of high end.

First up is a repeat from last month. It is the Max Factor False Lash Effect Volume & Length. This has quickly become perhaps one of my favourite mascaras. I just love the look the formula gives and it never smudges. Although quite pricey for a drugstore mascara at over €15, I really am in love with this mascara

I heard all the blog rumblings about how amazing the Stila Convertable Colours were but it was only recently that I hopped on the band wagon. A couple of months ago I picked up this limited edition palette with 5 of the colours and I have been using a couple of times a week ever since. They are really pigmented, last quite a long time and when applied with the amazing Real Techniques Stippling Brush, I can get perfect blushed cheeks with ease.

Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation was a revelation to many a girl when it first arrived and I was right there with them. In fact I used up a full bottle of the stuff. I decided to repurchase it recently after going a few month without and I am so glad I did. It gives glowing, light weight coverage and looks really nice on the skin.

Usually in winter I embrace the pale and leave tanning for the summer months but I have been yearning for the summer months. To bring a bit of sunshine to my life I have been using Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion. It's fool proof tanning, subtle for my super pale skin and really affordable.

My final favourite is a product I reviewed during the month and I really have enjoyed using it. Dove's Frizz Free Shine Cream Serum helps with frizz, smells pleasant and gives my hair an extra shiny boost before blow drying. It's not a miracle product for frizzy hair but it definitely helps which I am appreciative of.

So there is another month of tried, tested and approved products. Any opinions of these products? Any suggestions for products you think I'd like. Please let me know.
