Review: Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean

Thursday, 27 March 2014

In my quest to find a decent budget cleanser I came across Soap and Glory's Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk. As a peach lover, I knew I had to try this one out and see if it was more than just s pretty scent.

First off, this really smells so delicious. It isn't often that beauty products have a peach scent but I wish more products did. Soap and Glory are also a very affordable brand as this is only €8 from Boots. The packaging is that typical bright, kooky, fifties-esq design which I know some people love, but I'm not too into. This cleanser is aimed at all skin types as it aims to help with clogged t-zones, gently clean, purify and leave  brighter complexion.

I was actually quite pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. It was really quite pleasant to use. I simply rubbed it into my skin and removed it with a hot cloth and it seemed to do the job quite well.It didn't sting my eyes and left my skin feeling clean. It actually reminded me of the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, a product I was devoted to a while back. I do not think this is one for sensitive skin though as the scent is strong.

For the price, how effective this product is and its delicious peachy scent, I'm pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. It isn't going to transform your skin but as an affordable cleanser just to give your face a good clean in the evening, it's pretty great.
