April Favourites

Tuesday, 29 April 2014

This month has been on of a few amazing discoveries that I am very enthused about. While I am excited about the new finds, old beauty heroes that are used day to day need a mention also so here are my favourites for the month of April.

A new find and an immediate favorite of mine is the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 01 Personne ne Rouge. What makes this standout from the others is it's opaque, easy to apply, last for so long but also it doesn't dry my lips. I have been throwing this on during the day and in the evening and it looks flawless. Full review- HERE

A few months ago, I purchased The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil and loved it. However, I got distracted by other beauty bits and forgot about it until I saw some other blog posts singing its praises. Now it has become a staple part of my make-up routine. It removes make-up with ease and doesn't dry or irritate my skin. It actually has become quite a pleasant part of my skincare routine. Full review- HERE

Another The Body Shop discovery that has immediately become part of my daily make-up routine is their Honey Bronzer. I finally purchased this after months of wanting it and I am so glad I did. It is perfect for my pale skin, adds a bit of contour and colour to my skin and is generally just a perfect bronzer for any pale girl. Full review- HERE

I think from the above image, it is pretty obvious that this Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer receives a lot of love. I actually dropped it and smashed the powder but it's the concealer that I love. For blemishes this works so well as it's creamy, has great coverage and stays for a respectable amount of time. I wouldn't suggest it for under the eyes but for those pesky spots, it's a beaut.

Finally, is a non-beauty favourite that makes me feel all summery. The Bath and Body Works candle in Market Peach smells so delicious and fruity. I love the scent and have burned through this so quickly. Sadly, it is only available in the U.S. so I'll be begging some of my american situated family to send me a summers worth of this lovely scent!
