Jewellery Bits & Bobs

Tuesday, 6 May 2014

I love the look of jewellery but very seldom do I buy or wear any. In order to refine my style, I have decided to try and infuse the occasional piece into my daily look to add some sophistication and polish up my style a little bit.

I find rings the easiest and most chic way to make an outfit look more sophisticated. My cork screw midi ring is from Etsy and I love it as it looks very simple but stylish at the same time. My second ring is from New Look and only was about €4. Although it is cheap, it is actually very good quality. This ring is much more chunky and cool. I think creates a great contrast between the daintiness of my midi ring and the toughness of this one.

Another New Look purchase is this spiral cuff. This was also ridiculously affordable at €7.99 but again is really good quality. You can wear this just as a normal bracelet but I like to wear it as a cuff further up my arm as I think it gives it a stylish edge.

I know these items are simple but as a girl who usually doesn't venture much into jewellery, I think these look subtle yet chic. Jewellery is such an effortless way to add a little something extra to a look and after dipping my toes in, I plan on buying a lot more. P.S. The nail polish is Rimmel 60 Seconds in 310 Red Carpet!
