Beauty Haul

Saturday, 7 June 2014

Well looks likes I've been beauty shopping again! This time is was Boots, Mac and ASOS that lured me in. I'm very excited about the products I bought and to test them out within the coming weeks to see if any of them are winners.

Soap & Glory's Sunshield Superfluid is my first Boots purchase. It's one of the more expensive Soap & Glory offerings at just under €20. It aims to provide high sun protection while still being light enough to wear under make-up without being too heavy or greasy. I'm very excited to test this one out as it could be a real winner during the summer months.

ASOS had 20% off so I couldn't not buy some things. I purchased some clothes (haul coming soon) and this Pixi Lash Line Ink eyeliner was my only make-up buy. I've heard amazing things about this liner and from my swatching it seems lovely, super black and smooth to use. At €16 I'm hoping this lives up to the hype.

I saw a plethora of posts recently about Revlon's new scented nail polish range and I have to admit wasn't too impressed. It seemed a bit gimmicky for my taste. However, that was until saw the colours in store. They looked beautiful, bright and vibrant. I picked up African Tea Rose, a bright pink and Bordeaux, a deep, rich red. I got these for €5.99 each and if the formulas right I will certainly be going back for a few more.

Revlon Colorstay is not the most glamourous buy but for me it's a necessity. I love a light base but for a full day at work it just doesn't cut it. I trust this stuff to say around all day, not get cakey or fade and generally just do the job. In fact I wrote a whole post declaring about how this stuff is such as staple-HERE.

My final buy is one I've wanted for a while and finally decided to get it. Mac Patisserie has long been lauded as one of the best Mac nude shades. It's a lovely deep nude that isn't too orange or pale. I love the shade and am excited to start wearing this one.

Has anyone tried any of these products? I'd love to hear some opinions!
