Beauty Bits Every Pale Girl Should Own

pale girl

I've been a pale girl all my life. The palest girl! To help combat and live with my incredible paleness I've tried and tested a multitude of products and I'm here to pass on my favourite products to fellow pale girls so they too can make the most of their fair complexion.

A Light Bronzer: The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 01

Although The Body Shop make this bronzer in four shades, it's the palest shade 01 that's gotten the most traction in the beauty community and the acclaim in wholeheartedly deserved. This bronzer is so subtle and pretty, I truly believe every pale girl should own this. It's verging on high end pricing at €20.50 but it's so worth every penny. I use this everyday without fail as there is a serious lack of bronzers for the fairer girl on the market. I seriously cannot recommend this bronzer enough.

A Light Contour: Illamsaqua Cream Pigment in Hollow

Illasmaqua is a brand that I think is a friend to lighter skin tones. They have a great selection of products that cater to the lightest to the darkest skins. One of my favourites products they make is the cream pigment in Hollow. This light, muddy brown colour is perfect just under the cheekbones to give a contour. It never looks dark or overdone on the skin and at €20, it's a decent price.

A High Face SPF: Soap & Glory Sunshield Superfluid

Facial SPF is something everyone should use but for pale girls it is an absolute must. I think Soap & Glory's Sunshield Superfluid is an awesome little product for proving that essential high protection. It's light enough to wear make-up over but strong enough protection to know that you are safe. I love the formula and wear it everyday and it is less than €5 on Boots' website so snap it up.

A High Body SPF: La Roche Posay 50+ Anthelios XL

However, protecting your face isn't quite enough. You can't forget your body and I choose this La Roche Posay formula. It's strong and effective yet paraban and perfume free so I know it won't irritate my skin. At €20.50, it's on the pricier side of suncare but well worth it.

A Brown Eyeliner: Maybelline Master Drama Khol Liner in Dark Brown

In my cool, "alternative" teenage years black eyeliner was all I wore but as I've gotten older I realised that black eyeliner on my fair skin is just far too harsh and verging on gothy. Switching from black to brown eyeliner completely softened my eye look making me look far less washed out. I still rock black eyeliner but for day-to-day brown is my go to. So many brands make really great brown liners but I like the Maybelline khol liner as it's warm toned, richly coloured and can be smudged out really easily but stays all day. It's a bargain also at €6.79 so every pale girl can afford one.

There are my picks for what every fair skinned lady should be using but if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know!
