The Body Shop Color Crush Nail Polishes

The Body Shop have launched a new line of nail polishes called Color Crush Nails to their ever expanding beauty range. And being a fan of The Body Shop I knew I had to scoop these up and try them out to see if these polishes held up to The Body Shop name.

As you know The Body Shop like to do things a little differently. Their products are mostly vegan, cruelty free and generally avoid any so-called "nasty" ingredients, and these are no exception. Having a nail polish range that is free from harsh chemicals is quite unusual and I'm happy to embrace it.

The range is impressively large with 24 shades being launched. I was surprised by how varied and gorgeous the shades were as there is some beautiful nudes, deeper winter colours and some pastels for the summer months. They can be bought individually for €7.50 or in a pack of 3 (which I got) for €20, making them a real bargain in my books. I got the shades "Rosy Cheeks","Crazy for Blue" and "The Body Shop Green", which was my personal favourite of the bunch.

I have to say I really liked these and I can't quite put my finger on why. They don't have a fancy brush, they are the typical two coats and your done kinda polish and the formula does last the obligatory few days. They aren't amazing but  they are just a good, solid polish for a reasonable price. I definitely plan on buying a few more shades and see what else this range has to offer.
