The words "liquid blush" aren't muttered too often in the beauty community. In fact it's kind of a rarity only done by a select few brands. Perhaps the most praised and ubiquitous liquid blushes out there comes from Daniel Sandler whose Watercolour Fluid Blusher Range have become known as something quite special. I finally got my hands on one and they happen to be lovely.

Being a liquid blush, these are a little different from the norm. It comes in a tiny bottle which is adorable. On it says the words “shake vigorously” and I have to say this is a must. As it’s so watery and is inclined separate it really does need a good shake. To apply it I just put a dot on my hand and used the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to blend it into my cheeks. It blends effortless and looks really natural on the cheeks. It strange as it feels like water but it gives off a gorgeous subtle colour that just looks like the perfect flush. They are also so simple to apply and buildable, I just found this blush to be just really lovely on the skin.

I choose the shade Cherub, which apparently is the range's most popular colour and it's obvious to see why. It's described as “a delicate sheer, pastel pink that’s perfect for fair / medium skin tones that want the daintiest, youthful flush of colour.” It’s just that perfect everyday pink that goes with any make-up look. Even better if this shade isn't your thing and you are looking for something a little more adventurous or more suitable for your skin tone, there are tons of shades that all look gorgeous so you are spoilt for choice.

I have to say I'm really loving this blush. They are easy, comfortable to wear and all round a delight. They are on the pricier end of the blush spectrum at €22 but in my mind they are worth it. And if you have any questions or need a little help with figuring these blushes out, the Daniel Sandler site has so much great information about how to wear these so you can apply this beautiful blush like a pro!
