kiko long lasting eyeshadow pencils
A few weeks ago I did a Kiko haul. I got quite a few products but what I really wanted was the Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks. I’d heard rave reviews and thought they were just my kind of thing. So after testing these guys out for a few weeks, did they live up to my expectations? Well, yes!

These shadows are really kick-ass for a number of reasons. First, and most importantly is the formula. It’s just exactly what I want from a cream shadow. You can slap it on, blend easily with your fingers and it stays all day. No fading, creasing, or moving around on the lids. Once it’s on and sets, it’s there all day.

I love the packaging too. It does get a little messy but other than that it’s so easy to use. The pencil, with a small round applicator, makes it quick and easy to apply. You can get really precise with where you want to put the eyeshadow. And you can just pop it in your bag for touch ups. The shade range is also really amazing. Tons of shades, all really wearable and pretty. I actually had a hard time picking just two shades to test. I went with 06 Golden Brown and 38 Golden Taupe and both are perfect neutral shades. They also have some lovely beige, purple and blue shades that I might just have to pick up.

Best of all is the price. Less than €7 each! I was thinking of getting those fancy By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks but after swatching them, these are pretty much the same for less than a quarter of the price! The only downside is the lack of a Kiko store in Dublin. I don’t mind ordering online but you have to spend a minimum of €25. So Kiko if you could hurry up and open a shop in Dublin I’d very much appreciate it.

Have you tried these shadows? Are you as smitten as I am?
