Soap & Glory Solar Powder

Soap and Glory Solar Powder (€15.49) is one of those products that has always been on my to buy list. Yet it took me a while to actually go through with the purchase. I think because I was so happy with my The Body Shop Honey Bronzer. I didn’t feel the need to look elsewhere. A Boots sale finally swayed me and this baby ended up coming home with me.

When I first laid eyes on this bronzer it wasn’t exactly what I expected. It is split into two shades One, a dark contour colour that is matte. The other is a lighter more bronzed shade that surprisingly is a little glittery. I had assumed it was completely matte. Luckily the glitter doesn’t transfer on the face so I’m quite happy about that.

I do like that you have options with this bronzer. Both shades can be used individually, which is great for girls with paler complexions, or you can swirl them together. I have been switching between solely using the light shade and using a mix and both look quite natural. Not over orange and relatively subtle on my extremely white skin. I also  like how soft and buttery the powder is. It’s not chalky at all. It feels nice and blends like a dream.

I can  see why so many people love this bronzer. I looks lovely on the skin and gives a perfect glow. I do have to admit my heart still belongs to The Body Shop Honey Bronzer . Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy I bought this. And will certainly use it. It’s good but for me, it’s just not my favourite. What do you think of the Soap & Glory Solar Powder?
