What I've Been Loving - March Edition

Thursday, 2 April 2015

I did kind of a shockingly large amount of shopping this month. I just couldn't stop. But, in doing so I found some amazing new makeup items. And even better most of them are affordable gems which is always a bonus! So let's have a chat about what I've been loving this month...

The Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream - €10.49 is a very new purchase for me. I've only had it for about a week. And perhaps it's a bit premature to put it in a favourites post but I can already tell that it's perfect for me. I've used it everyday since I got it and it has everything I love in a base. Light weight, hydrating, a great shade, I'm really enjoying using it so far! It's just a lovely, easy base.

Another Bourjois product that I never hear anyone talk about but I absolutely adore is the Bourjois Bronzing Primer - €12.99. I used a whole pot of this and bought another nice, new one straight away. I use this most days when I don't want to look like a straight-up ghost. It just warms up my complexion without looking too dark. It also looks scary in the pot but it's perfect for pale girls looking to add a little colour to their face.

I wrote a glowing review of the Real Techniques Bold Metals 200 Oval Shadow - €20.00 earlier in the month. It's just a awesome brush and has become one of my favourite shadow brushes to do a quick all over the lid look. I know they are on the pricier side but I think the quality speaks for itself and they really are worth the money. I particularly love using it with the L'Oreal Mono Eye Shadow in 200 Over The Taupe - €8.99. This mid-toned brown shade is just amazing. The formula is one of my favourites and it looks gorgeously shimmery and pigmented on the lids. It is a great every day shadow when used sparingly but you can also pack it on the lids for the evening too.

Lastly, it's the new Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink - €11.49. I'm not going to ramble about these too much because they were the subject of my last post. But these are freakin' amazingly gorgeous. I mean look at the prettiness! So good!
