pixi glow tonic
Amazing reviews, difficult to get your hands on, this is the perfect mix to make a "cult" product. And Pixi Glow Tonic - (€24.66) certainly comes under this bracket. Since I started reading beauty blogs, I've heard so many raves about this product but could never find it. Slowly, it has started to become more ubiquitous and when I saw ASOS was stocking it, I excited bought it wanting some of that magic myself.

From what I've read this is a toner-like product to be used right after cleansing. To be honest I usually skip toners as I normally feel they don't do much for me. I've actually only liked one before, the Liz Earle Instant Boost Tonic so I was excited yet apprehensive to try this. This tonic is a liquid exfoliate that claims to remove dead skin for healthier looking skin. Sounds amazing albeit kind of gross, right?

Being a chemical exfoliant, I was expecting this to be quite harsh and stripping of the skin. But it surprisingly felt fine. It was really comfortable and not drying at all. It doesn't really have much of a scent which I also like. After using it for two weeks I can definitely feel a difference in my skin. It is a little softer and smoother. I did find that it helped with those annoying under the skin blemishes that I seem to always have which is great.

However it's like, not love with this product. Although, it did have some effect on my skin, it's by no means a miracle product. I still have blemishes and it isn't something that I'd view as an absolute necessity. I found it nice but not amazing. Having said that I have only been using it for 2 weeks so perhaps the longer I use it, the greater the effect. Either way I'll happily finish the bottle and enjoy the smoother skin!

Have you tried the Pixi Glow Tonic? What Did you think?
