5 Cult Products You Should Try

I've tried a lot of "cult" products in my time. Some live up to the high praise and others kind of just stink. Today, I'm going to focus on the good ones. Those much talked about and beloved products that I think are kick-ass too. I'm only going to talk about five today, although I could of talked about 20! But let's leave them for another day and get chatting about these five lovely cult buys.

I'm going to talk about Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector first. A few years ago this THE highlighting product. The beauty world had a little moment of obsession. But as it goes, other products came in and stole its thunder for a while. Randomly, now it's experiencing a massive resurgence, partly because of the strobing trend and partly because of some YouTuber plugs. I, for one, am so happy that it's back in the limelight as it's a cracker of a product.

I have the shade Pearl, the lightest one and it's so unbelievably beautiful. As it's a liquid, it can be used all over the face as an illuminating base, you can mix it with your foundation or it can be used just on the high points of the face as a traditional highlighter. It really is worth all the hullabaloo and the expensive price tag.

Next is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer. As you can see, mine is a little worse for wear. In fact, it's on the verge of shattering so moving it around has to be done slowly and with great concentration. But when it does break, I will be marching straight to The Body Shop and buying another because it's that great. As a very pale girl, I really struggled with bronzers before this came along and I couldn't imagine my makeup drawer without it. This is my number one bronzer. I love it!

Let's keep The Body Shop love going with their Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil. Not to be a hipster about this product, but I bought this on a whim a while before the beauty community caught on to how great it was. And was really happy when it exploded in popularity. There is really nothing to dislike about this one. It removes makeup like a champ, it feels nice on the skin, it has an unoffensive smell and it's reasonably affordable. Love! Love! Love!

Another makeup item is the Clarins' Instant Concealer. Even though this isn't my absolute favourite concealer and I do have some issues with it (Only 3 shades Clarins! Get your shit together!), I do think it's a great product. For me, the coverage isn't what draws me. I mean the coverage is fine, but nothing to write home about. Instead, it's how it sits on the skin. I find it just looks very natural and blends in seamlessly. For days where I'm not wearing much makeup, this is my go-to product. It's also great mixed with a more heavy duty concealer. It is just one of those products that is handy to have in your makeup arsenal.

Finally, is good ol' Nuxe Reve de Miel. I've bought too many of these to count. If one runs out, I already have a backup in my drawer. I love it that much. If you are someone who gets chronic dry lips, someone who needs something that will make matte lips more comfortable or just someone who like delicious smelling things, trust what is said about this. It's the best.

What do you think? Am I on the money with these being worth a try?
