Pixi Overnight Glow Serum review

As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in a cafe, cradling a coffee I ordered 3 hours ago, mooching free wi-fi and trying not to be stressed. For the week, I am visiting the country and I'm having fun even though I'm still working and am missing the beautiful, fast Dublin internet. The big perk of being here though is that my hotel room is so bright and I have taken advantage by snapping some photos. One being of this Pixi Overnight Glow Serum...

As you know about a month ago I picked up some Pixi goodies. My timing in visiting the Pixi shop was actually very lucky as they had just launched lots of exclusive skincare into their stores and I was like a kid in a candy store. This Pixi Overnight Glow Serum was what caught my attention the most. I love a good overnight serum and one that gives a glow... oh baby, sign me up!

For anyone who is a fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic, this is pretty much the same kind of thing. Except this is its badass, big sister. It's a concentrated exfoliating gel with 10% glycolic acid and arginine. It's got a pipet and in the evenings, before applying moisturiser, two or three drops does the trick. It's aim is to give you an even and radiant skintone and I can vouch for that. It is one of those products that when you wake up, your skin feels different, much softer and very strokable. It's really lovely.

Although I really like it, I tend to only use it two or three days a week. I'm quite a persnickety, scaredy cat when it comes to chemical exfoliants, especially with ones that require heaps of SPF for days after wearing. So for me, I see it as more of a mid-week skin boost instead of an everyday essential.

I have to say this is a winner for me. It's (reasonably) affordable for a serum, it works a treat and I even like the green and gold packaging which is a surprise! I now desperately want to try everything else from their new line as it all looks equally awesome. What can I say? I'm becoming addicted to that Pixi Glow.
