New Year's Resolutions (For The Non-Resolutions Girl)

Hello! I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Year's! In case, you didn't notice I took a couple of weeks off over the Christmas period because honestly, I had a lot going on. I'm back now though and really excited to get back into the swing of things. To kick the year off, I'm going to chat about my New Year's Resolutions. I'm usually not a resolutions kind of gal. In fact, I've never made them before, but this year I realised I have things I want and need to achieve and I thought it would be fun to share them on my blog.

Start Exercising
Okay, let's start with a completely generic and unoriginal goal - exercising. I'm ashamed to say I never exercise or do anything active. I'm one of those people who relies too heavily on their twenty-something fast metabolism and that's not okay. I've decided to try and start becoming more active. I'll probably start off light. Maybe some walking and light yoga, but hopefully it will set me off on a more healthy lifestyle.

Focus more on a blog theme
For the past few months, I've been thinking about changing my blog photography and theme. I hummed and hawed about what I would like my blog to look like and finally I have discovered a theme and look that I'd like to do. I still have to figure out how to take my idea and turn it into something visual, but I'm very excited to experiment and try!

Blog more consistently
Another blog goal is to get back into a blog schedule. I've become so bad at keeping up with posting regularly and I'd love to get the habit back of blogging three times a week. For this, I will have to get a lot better at organising, stop procrastinating and generally get my butt in gear. However, I really think if I try I can succeed with this one.

Find Stable Employment
My final resolution is in regards to something I don't usually talk about on here - my job. I have a strange work life. I work for startup tech companies and it's not stable. It's also freelance, but not freelance at the same time. It's weird. And although, it's fun and challenging and a very liberal working environment, it's also scary and unpredictable. I want to find a more secure working environment and live a more stable work life. Wish me luck!
